PS4 Room

This classroom focuses on developing key skills that will ensure Kindergarten readiness.  The lead teacher follows a Christ-centered, emergent curriculum that aligns with the Iowa Early Learning Standards.  This provides “hands-on” activities that develop early learning skills and encourage children to become critical thinkers, researchers and life-long learners. Literacy, math, handwriting, and many other formal content areas are introduced and practiced on a daily basis during center and small group time.  Invaluable learning also takes place through social experiences that encourage problem solving, creative thinking, cooperation and Godly character development.

Ongoing assessments are administered throughout the school year to ensure students are growing and mastering key milestones. All staff are certified in CPR and First Aid.
