St. Paul’s Lutheran Early Childhood Center (SPLECC) serves children from ages 6 weeks to 5 years of age, from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Our mission is to offer a stimulating and loving Christ-centered environment for our students and their families. SPLECC’s program is based on a developmental philosophy that focuses on fundamental principles of the growth of children. Our Christ-centered, emergent curriculum provides “hands-on” activities that develop early learning skills and encourage children to become critical thinkers, researchers and life-long learners. Invaluable learning also takes place through social experiences that encourage problem solving, creative thinking, cooperation and Godly character development. Our activities and educators make SPLECC an inviting place for children to form a strong foundation for school readiness and Christian character.

Children learn best when they feel safe in a secure and comfortable environment. Our outdoor space is completely fenced and the expansive area includes a blacktop area for bike riding, playing balls and sidewalk chalk. The large field allows children to run, play games and play ball. Children also have the opportunity to swing, play in sand and dirt boxes, and play on the big toy climber. The variety of activities keeps children busy and engaged while outdoors.
